Improve UX of the core app’s part and introduce coupons.

Background

The Good Lood mobile app has grown to nearly 500,000 users. What started as a simple loyalty tool has evolved into a full ecosystem. It displays real-time flavor availability in each ice-cream shop, enables quick-commerce with home delivery, and supports customers in their everyday choices.

Challenge

  • Introduce personalized, user-specific coupons
  • Redesign the Tab to ensure clarity, scalability, and engagement.
  • Improve UX of the Rewards Tab and refresh UI to make it look up to date, yet still consistent with another parts of the app
  • Prepare a complex admin panel for Marketing team to manage coupons, promotions and discounts.

  • Mapped, analized and optimised user paths to make the reward redemption process intuitive and seamless. Whether redeeming in-store via QR code, using coupons in-app, or across both channels.
  • Iterated solutions in close collaboration with developers and the product owner, aligning with technical constraints.
Redesigned Rewards Tab

Solution

  • Introduced a slide-up drawer component displaying coupon details and supporting multiple states (active, redeemed, expired) and actions (scanning QRs, linking to Orders tab, etc).
  • Applied the same scalable component logic to rewards, ensuring consistency across the program, developing drawer component with actions connected to redeeming a reward.
  • As well as introducing coupons for our users, we also needed to introduce admin panels for Marketing team. With my team we crafted a panel, I designed and simplified as much as it was possible, complex process of creating a user personalised coupon.

  • Each month thousands of users get and redeem personalised coupons
  • Improved usability and clarity of the Rewards section.
  • Increased user engagement with the loyalty program.
  • Established a scalable foundation for future features.
